1.Set a goal and visualize it down to the last detail..
Literally visualize yourself feeling the success of what you want to achieve, what you need to do to get there. You need to see it, feel it, hear it.
2. Keep A Positive Attitude..
While you can't choose or control your circumstance , you can choose and change your attitude towards it! There are very few things more important for self motivation than the right attitude.
3. Start Simple..
Keep motivators around your work area or in your room, whether it be little notes or pictures. Anything that gives you that initial spark to get you going.
4. Keep Learning..
When you read, try to take everything in. The more you learn and teach yourself, the more comfortable you become in what you know and grow confidence about reaching your goals.
5. Get to know yourself..
Keep notes on when your motivation sucks and when you feel like a superstar. There will be a pattern that, once you are aware of, you can work around and develop.
6. Do Not Compare Yourself To Others..
"Comparison is the thief of joy.” —Theodore Roosevelt
We ought to strive to be the best possible versions of ourselves—not only for our own selves, but for the benefit and contribution we can offer to others.
~Work hard to take care of yourself physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
~Commit to growing a little bit each day. And learn to celebrate the little advancements you are making without comparing them to others.
With so many negative effects inherent in comparison, it is a shame we ever take part in it. But the struggle is real for most of us.
Fortunately, it does not need to be. And the freedom found in comparing less is entirely worth the effort. :) :)
